BergHOFF stainless steel products are covered by a limited lifetime warranty from the date of purchase to the original owner. BergHOFF guarantees to replace or repair any stainless steel product found defective in material, construction, or workmanship under normal household use, as described in our use and care guide. This excludes damage from misuse, overheating or abuse, dropping of the utensil or cookware, or intentional breaking. Minor imperfections and slight color variations are normal with all stainless steel products. 18/10 304-316 CroMoTanium surgical stainless steel will turn color from overheating on a stove top (steel bluing) and may become darker golden brown on the bottom. This in no way affects the product’s cooking ability and is normal. Use a good stainless steel cleaner, like BergHOFF’s “Stainless Cleanser” will keep it looking new. Minor imperfections like dents and scratches may show in stainless and are not covered under this limited warranty. Never use high heat on your set when cooking waterless or without any contents in the cookware. All valid warranty claims will be replaced or repaired. A $7 charge, per item, must be included for U.S. customers and a $10 charge, per item for Canadian customers. This charge is to offset shipping costs related to your warranty claim. This amount is subject to change from time to time. The Smart gauges are not oven proof, that is why they are removable. The gauge is easily replaced if needed, for a small charge which is subject to change from time to time. In the event that you have a warranty claim, please email a picture of the product clearly showing the damaged or defective area, a copy of your receipt, and the nature of your claim to to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. When you receiver your RMA number, mail your warranty claim along with the $7 (U.S. customers) or $10 (Canadian customers) with prepaid postage to:

No claims will be accepted without the RMA number on the label, nor processed without the RMA number. Items sent to BergHOFF will be returned “postage collect” to the sender if missing the RMA #. In the event that your cookware was shipped to you, upon receipt of your cookware and some damage is observed, please report it immediately to the shipping company. Be sure to keep all the packing material, boxes, labels, popcorn protection, etc. until all inspections have been made by the shipping or Transport Company. BergHOFF will try to assist you with your claim against the transport company, but we cannot be held responsible for damage caused by a freight carrier.
